Dear Colleagues,
Following our 2025 AGM we want to update you regarding our work on developing a successor programme to HealthOne.
HealthOne continues to be a brilliant medical record system and will continue to be fully supported by Clanwilliam Health. There is no threat to its continued development in line with regulatory and operational requirements from the ICGP or HSE.
Nonetheless, for some time, we have been looking for a more modern record system with the cost-efficient and operational benefits of being cloud-based. We seek to exploit a modernised IT architecture to allow of all possible enhancements to assist the busy GP in their daily work
We want our next system to maintain the high degree of user customisability, the structured format of the medical record and the unlimited research and audit functions that we presently enjoy in HealthOne.
Features such as optional scribing, GDPR approved and AI supported note-taking and automated coding are some of the features we look forward to in our next generation record system. Most of all, we want a product we can develop as a group of active users, just as we have grown HealthOne over the past 30 years.
Since our last update in November 2024, through further technical and committee work, we have concluded that the development of the second generation CompleteGP software best fits our requirement for an ideal successor programme.
This is a brand-new development, related only in name to the original programme. We have determined that this product will be a worthy ‘HealthTwo’. HealthOne remains good. HealthTwo will be even better. Testing has started and we anticipate the product becoming available early in 2026.
Of course, there will be no need to switch from HealthOne but, just in case, we’ll keep you posted on HealthTwo. We think you might be persuaded!

The Healthone Ireland User-group (HIUG) is an extremely active User Group, which has been in activity since HealthOne software was introduced to Ireland in the late 80’s
Commitment
The group are committed to the HealthOne software and have been focused and driven to bring the software to where it is today. We were often force leading to innovation of the software.
Big User base
HealthOne is the second biggest of Irish GP HCRs, also used in other EU contries. The HIUG is a cooperative of all the GP’s who use the system in Ireland. The HIUG is one of the most PROACTIVE user-group of any practice management system in the world
Succession planning
As you can read on a statement above, we were actively engaging with CompleteGP to bring a next-generation product to Irish market!

Many more experienced user create templates and MediForms for improved patient safety and GPs productivity – see appropriate sections.
Ongoing training and Community
Annual meetings are opportunity to not only be up to date with the newest features, but also meet your Colleagues.
On demand videos
Over the years we created a great resource of videos hosted on YouTube channel that demonstrate most of the software features.
An array of resources
We nurture culture of peer to peer supports and sharing of resources. After all, there is no need to reinvent the wheel!
